Computer Networks
Department Overview
The real target of this
platform is to enrich the computer networks field with a brilliant,
specialized and fast-adapted group of engineers who can design,
build and maintain modern computer networks. The study goes beyond
building theories and principles to gaining a very good practical
experience through dealing with a variety of different vendors in
the field of computer networking field.
Conditions & Terms of Acceptance
The computer networks platform
accepts only telecommunication or computer engineers, since they
have good and suitable networking and telecommunication backgrounds.
Moreover, the agreements with the international universities in
the computer networks field dictate the required background.
Graduates Profile
The graduate would be eligible to work in several areas
related to computer networks. The platform provides the skills and
knowledge to prepare trainees for specific job roles within the
computer networking technologies. Areas include (but are not limited
to) the following:

A network engineer,
who can design LANs and WAN connections, deal with routers,
switches, servers, and other network components and devices

A system administrator,
either for Unix, Linux, or MS Windows operating systems.

A technical support
engineer, who can work at call centers troubleshooting local
and remote networks and servers.

Recognition
There are chances for the graduates from the computer networks platform
to complete their master degrees through already established channels
